…Having a life where you don’t feel like a burden to people. Where you do feel like you have a fulfilled life, a healthy life, a life worth living…”
HIRO is unique in its ability to provide an evidence-based, client and family centered-care ABI rehabilitation program to individuals who have suffered a moderate to severe acquired brain injury (ABI).
Our client and family centered-care approach is a mutually beneficial partnership among clients, families and service providers in planning, developing and monitoring rehabilitative care. This approach is led by a regulated heath care professional and supported by an incredible network of clinical professionals, staff and partners who will help facilitate transitions towards greater independence and client outcomes, based on what is important to the people we serve.
We know that without our clients’ strength and determination to continuously strive to be their best selves, we wouldn’t be one of the leading community-based brain injury rehabilitation providers in Ontario. But we also know that our talented, generous and caring team are a driving force that inspires hope and encourages greatness each and every day.
We help survivors to adapt, learn and live more independently through a customized rehabilitation plan tailored to fit their needs.
