Taimoor is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence and corporate advisory. He holds a BBA and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University., Taimoor leads the Deals practice at SRCO Professional Corporation, where he advises business owners and senior leaders on transactions, valuations and strategic growth. Taimoor is also the Principal of Lakeshore Advisory, a boutique corporate advisory firm. He began his career at PwC, spending nine years in its Deals Advisory and Assurance practices.

Taimoor’s commitment to HIRO is shaped by his own lived experience with rehabilitation and recovery after being personally impacted by an ABI, which gave him a deep appreciation for the dedication of clinicians, caregivers and families throughout that journey. He joined the Board to give back to the community and to champion patient advocacy, helping ensure that individuals living with ABI and their families have the care and support they need to rebuild independent and fulfilling lives. He hopes his story can inspire others on their own path to recovery.

In his spare time, Taimoor volunteers with not-for-profit organizations focused on the education and empowerment of young children through The Citizens Foundation Canada.
